TRIPP Module: Does the addition of motor control or strength training exercises result in better outcomes for rotator cuff-related shoulder pain? (2CPD)

R250.00

Rotator cuff-related shoulder pain (RCRSP) accounts for approximately 70% of shoulder pain consultations. It is associated with reduced function, decreased muscle performance, altered shoulder kinematics, and maladaptive pain behaviours such as kinesiophobia and catastrophisation. Management commonly involves education, exercise, medication, injections and surgery.
Two of the most widely recommended types of exercises for RCRSP are strengthening and motor control exercises (MCE). Education, combined with exercise therapy should be prioritized as the initial management for people seeking care with RCRSP.

A TRIPP Module consists out of a world class Clinical publication, sometimes practical rehab video demonstrations or/and extra reading content to support the topic and a short questionnaire.
