“When can I play again?” – Return to sport considerations for upper and lower limb (8 CPD)

R650.00

SKU: RTS-1-50 Category:

“When can I play again?’’ is the most frequently, emotionally charged, typical question asked by almost every athlete and patient after an injury. Invariably, the same question is one of the first asked by teammates, parents, coaches and in the case of high-profile athletes – the media.

This practical hands-on course will offer clinicians robust RTS decision making skills on chronic and acute upper and lower limb injuries like Achilles tendinosis, shoulder and back pathologies, lateral ankle reconstruction, PFPS etc.

The content will enable and empower clinicians to apply what they have learned in real time through a well-defined RTS algorithm.

Upper and lower limb test batteries will be provided to enable clinicians to make functional decisions on returning athletes to sport.

This course takes this subject face-to-face in providing clinicians with the latest evidence-based practice return to sport (RTS) considerations by looking into real time case studies.

Clinicians will be provided with a criterion based rehabilitation progression model which will support the final phase RTS decision making process.
